The “Lady Jane” pillow refers to Jane Means Appleton Pierce (* 1806 in Hampton, New Hampshire, † 1863 in Andover, Massachusetts).
She was the wife of the fourteenth U.S. President Franklin Pierce (Democratic Party) and the First Lady of the United States from 1853 to 1857.
